Tarpon Springs WalMart SuperCenter #3415 41232 US Hwy 19 N, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. This store is what I call a baby supercenter. It has a lot of the supercenter offerings but at a much smaller stock level. It has a photo center, pharmacy, bakery and garden center and tax services. All are on a less grand scale as other walmart supercenters. Even the selections on the shelf are scaled down versions. Less variety and in some cases not a stocked item where ather supercenters carry them. It does support the walmart pick up option so anything they sell on walmart.com can be picked up at this location vs commercial package shipping. Provided it is a walmart item someplace. When I ordered my new 50 inch LED TV from walmart online I was able to ship it for free to this store and just come pick it up once it was in.
The draw backs. This store like other regional stores suffers from the walmart broken egg disease. It’s a system wide inability to ship and stock eggs without breaking half of them. A must check the carton on every visit policy. The first one you pick up will have broken eggs in it or would have had the jumbo grade eggs that where broken replaced with like medium or small grade eggs but you will still have to pay the jumbo price.
This is a very messy store. You’ll have to hunt on the shelves for items you want but are not on the shelf they are supposed to be on. Sometimes you find the item first and then have to hunt around the price stickers translating the sku speak looking for the price of things. All this hunting and no guarantee that it is even in stock.
This is a high theft store. You have to be super vigilant at examining your items to be sure your getting what you think and are being charged to proper price. A common tactic of the 3415 shoplifters is to swap bar coded stickers to a lower priced item. I once bought a twin sheet set that was supposed to be like $9 only to be charged $22 for it. What had happened was some dirtbag swapped the bar code they scan with a same color set for a king mattress. So they paid the twin price for the king and stuck me with the king price for the twin. Some customer service desk tard actually started to accuse me of steeling until I reminded her that I wouldn’t switch sku stickers that would charge me two and a half times as much money.. How stupid right..
I find broken display cases all the time in this store. Especially in the evening in electronics and the fire arms department. Customers just break them open and take what they want. I reported a broken open game card cabinet to an associate once and was told that they knew about it but loss prevention didn’t want them to fix it because it helps to temp people into stealing them and they want apprehensions.. yah nice right.
This is not a pleasant store to shop in. It has the same language problems as other stores plus we call it the black walmart. With a high population of street african americans 5thet shop there it’s never much fun. Rudeness, inconsiderateness, don’t know how to park their carts. Deliberately running into each other and purposely blocking the isles just for kicks. It’s just plain inconsiderate rudeness. It’s like this ain’t 1950’s. You got nothing to be pissed at anymore. Why you all acting like whitey just killed your dog? Get out the way bitch. .. no matter what kind of a mood you are in when you get there, you’ll be in a pissy mood by the time you check out.
You notice in the picture that there is a shopping cart parked in the handicapped accessibility walk zone. This is a big problem for this store. I have been there on days when there will be like a dozen carts all packed up in a bunch blocking the handicapped parking. While some tards are out there clearing the lot of carts.. like don’t you know your supposed to do these first fools? I actually told a kid that and he was like, um, they didn’t tell us that. *sigh* I did retail loss prevention and they most certainly did tell you that, you just didn’t listen. The kid actually started arguing with me until I got a manager to explain to him what the fine was for each shopping cart that he allowed to stay inside the handicapped parking. And then I brought to their attention the two motorcycles that where parked in the handicapped accessibility zone. Turns out they belonged to employees. They got towed that day. There where other days just like this one. And it’s all because the people are rude inconsiderate assholes and the kids they hire are dumber than a stump.
This store does have pleasant check out associates like other area stores. It tends to be staffed with a much older employee. The rudeness thing is cultural. Can’t blame the blacks for it when their peer white counterparts are worse. Just a place where the youths suck.. It’s the same in all the stores in this plaza.
I still shopped there because it was closest to home at the time.
